• My name: Synia (Suh-knee-yuh) Roberts
• Hometown: Baltimore, Maryland. Home of crabs and Oldbay!
• Hobbies: I love anything related to music, and I play alto saxophone and bass guitar. And even though it might sound cliche, I love to find recipes and cook back at home.
• I chose ODU because they were one of the few schools I found that offer dental hygiene near Maryland. I also chose ODU because when I came up for “admitted students day,” I was able to learn more about my major, meet people from the program, etc. I had a lot of fun and it made me more confident in my choice.
