Hi, I’m Tatiana chavous — thanks for stopping by! I’m currently a student at Old Dominion University, studying Cybersecurity. I’ve always been curious about how technology connects people, but a conversation with my uncle, who works for the government, really opened my eyes to all the benefits and opportunities in this field. Hearing his experiences showed me how much impact cybersecurity professionals can have on protecting both organizations and everyday people and it inspired me to dive in myself.
Right now, I’m especially interested in network security learning how to protect and monitor systems, prevent breaches, and keep data safe. My long-term goal is to use the skills I’m learning at Old Dominion to build a career in network security, where I can help organizations stay ahead of cyber threats.
Outside of class, one of my favorite things to do is spend time with my family whether it’s hanging out at home, enjoying meals together, or catching up on life. Being around family keeps me grounded and reminds me why protecting people’s privacy and security matters.
This site is my little digital space to share my growth, projects, and ideas as I continue learning and working toward a career in cybersecurity. Thanks for visiting — I hope you’ll come back to see how it evolves!
