My name is Ashawne Edwards. I’m the oldest of three boys and one girl. For the first five years of my life, I lived I Grenada, an island in the Caribbean. I moved to America a few months before my sixth birthday. At first, living here was in a way difficult, mainly because I would constantly get in trouble at school. Even so, I eventually got my act together and became a straight-A, B student. Yes, my childhood wasn’t the best but it turned me into who I am today.
