This assignment was a fun challenge because we got to utilize old newspaper articles from our birthdays throughout the years. I enjoyed seeing the fashion and ads the most from the 1800’s, and some of the stories were very entertaining as well. I had the opportunity to go to the library on campus and use the microfilm machine, which was also a fun new experience. Documenting and researching real newspapers from so long ago was a motivating assignment.
