In today’s world, we practically live on our phones and keep everything on our phones. We keep messages, email, personnel information, password, and everything in-between. We rely that these devices are safe and secure and we don’t expect them to be targeted or hacked. I talk about this because I believe if ever there was an attack on Apple or Samsung some of the biggest phone and computer companies in the world. An attack on these companies would create so much panic and destruction due to the sheer quantity of devices. About 90% of people with phones would be affected by this attack and that’s not including the computers and other devices that these companies make. If software like Hawkeye was implanted in these phones the attack would have billions of passwords, bank information, messages, and everything sent or kept on those phones. Everything would be affected due to the information volume, company secrets could be release any confidential information sent by government employees could be released. If the attacker was very intelligent and hid his digital footsteps no one would ever see it coming. By the time we realized that this had happened the attack could already have tons of information. The only way to protect against attacks like this is to keep watch from the digital standpoint and to inform people to keep their information safe and secure.
