A thorough resource that defines the cybersecurity workforce and offers a consistent vocabulary for characterizing cybersecurity labor responsibilities is the NICE Workforce Framework (National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education). After reading it, I want to concentrate on analysis for my career. Examine: Strategic decision-making to improve overall security is made possible by gaining a thorough awareness of the threat landscape through the analysis of cybersecurity incidents and vulnerabilities. I find puzzles and problem solving interesting, so I’m more drawn to analysis. Lastly, despite its importance and position, which is mostly focused on administrative and policy issues, I find oversight and development to be the least interesting.
