During my internship I hope to accomplish these three goals:

• Upgrade Employee Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Manual
• Establish a Church Fundraising Campaign
• Create New Volunteer Orientation and Recruitment Flier

I hope to achieve my first goal by comparing the current procedures to what the manual states and correct the information accordingly. Next, I will think of some ideas on how to improve current work flow and run them by my manager to see if they are achievable or necessary. If my ideas are received well, I will implement them to the SOP manual. Through a writing application like word, I will either take a template or scan the document to make a more presentable and recent manual. After the SOP manual is finished, I will give it to my supervisor for approval.

I hope to achieve my second goal by first establishing priority needs of the clinic to advertise for the fundraiser. I myself have never known the inner-workings of setting up a fundraiser so I will ask for some advice or watch videos about how to be successful. After that, I will look at the average funds raised during previous years. Next, I would need to make posters to advertise the fundraiser. Finally, I would need to collaborate with my mentor on how such an event would be held.

My last goal is to create a new volunteer flier. The current flier is out of date and has incorrect information about it. To update the flier I would use canva as that is a very easy to use program. It has many different templates and themes that I can use. To update the orientation flier I would have to look at the current orientation rules and update them as needs and condense the information into an understandable way on a flier.
