This assignment required me to choose a variety of children’s literature and analyze them in order to write a specific description of the books. This was very beneficial to me because I was not familiar with many children’s books. By reading such a wide variety of titles, I will be able to help kids choose books that interest them and are beneficial academically, as well as help teachers choose books for their classrooms. I was also required to choose diverse books that would benefit all students. It gives me a good foundation of knowledge for when I am in charge of ordering books for my school library.
