In my experience with CYSE270, learning Linux for cybersecurity was challenging at first but became easier over time with practice. I had to get used to using the command line instead of a regular interface, which was confusing in the beginning, especially when dealing with errors like permission denied. As I worked through labs like creating users, managing groups, and checking disk partitions, I started to understand how Linux systems operate and how they are used to secure data. This course helped me build confidence in using Linux and showed me how important it is in real-world cybersecurity environments.
