Professional Summary:

Dedicated and motivated Cyber Security major, and currently a sophomore at ODU. I hold multiple certifications from CompTIA certifications Security+, Linux+, CySA+, and TCM PJPT, Splunk Certified Core User and am working on Splunk Certified Power User.

Technical Expertise:

I love to program and create scripts to automate task, with a focus on Python, consistently staying up to date with current industry trends, and honing my skills to meet the demands of the dynamic IT landscape. Practicing on platforms like TryHackMe and HackTheBox when studying for the OSCP to better understand how an attacker thinks. The hands on experience helped me understand concepts and apply theatrical to practical knowledge.

Projects

I have successfully completed several projects, including a SSH honeypot. This project allowed me to apply my technical skills in a real-world scenario with real attacks. The project used a free open source SSH honeypot and using Python to create the visuals. However, using Splunk to see trends and visualize the data could be used to improve the project even more. Another project I made was a word guessing game. This project used Python and free APIs to generate words and the definitions. Allowing for people to learn more words in a fun and interactive way. In addition, it had an offline mode just incase you lost internet while playing. Then made a scoreboard to challenge your friends, and made different modes with varies amount of tries to make the game easier or harder for the player.

My goals:

My long term goal is to become a Chief Information Security Officer at a top 500 company or to start my own LLC. Where can prove my skills at the highest levels. My short term goal is to graduate school with a 3.8 GPA or higher.
