GuidePoint Security University – Remote, Internship 09/2025 – Current
Security Engineer
During my second remote internship with GuidePoint Security I designed and built a Python program to fetch API data and write it to a Splunk-monitored directory, enabling automated ingestion. Moreover, I built a Tines workflow to automate threat intelligence tasks, including web scraping and AI-powered summarization of security articles. As I look to work in the federal space these projects will help me get into my dream role.
This role allowed me to work with vendors and vendor tools. To better my skills in python and Tines. The Tines experience is helping me with projects I am working on for my Federal internship.

Public Broadcasting Service – Remote, Internship 05/2025 – 08/2025
Vulnerability Management Analyst
When working at PBS I learned about different EDR solutions and how they affect system security. I applied CVSS 3.1 scoring and NIST Cybersecurity Framework to assess vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation based on risk management principles. Moreover, I managed devices through the vulnerability lifecycle making sure devices were patched and plans were created.
This role really matter to me as I was able to apply a previous internship through COVA CCI this internship. I learned how to use EDR solutions and apply risk scores to different vulnerabilities. While I was going through logs I found a previously thought to be patched vulnerability and alerted key teams to patch and verify it. This internship it helped me land me the Federal internship at GuidePoint Security.

Stafford County Public Schools – In-person, Internship 05/2023 – 08/2023
Computer Technical Specialist
I specialized in fixing Chromebooks, providing comprehensive solutions to resolve any technical issues users may encounter. Then I decommissioned and phased out legacy hardware models in accordance with lifecycle management policies and asset control procedures. This helped me land my next internship with the City of Suffolk because I was familiar with asset control procedures.
