Introduction:
Hi there! I’m Brad, a junior at Old Dominion University pursuing my Bachelor’s degree with a strong focus on cybersecurity and project management. I’m on track to graduate in Fall 2026, and I’m already laying the groundwork for a career where I can lead innovative cybersecurity initiatives and help organizations stay ahead of digital threats.
My Goal:
I aspire to become a Cybersecurity Project Manager—someone who not only understands the technical landscape but can also coordinate teams, manage timelines, and ensure security solutions are delivered efficiently and effectively. I’m passionate about bridging the gap between technical expertise and strategic leadership.
My Academic Journey:
Before transferring to Old Dominion University, I earned my Associate of Applied Science in Cybersecurity from Tidewater Community College. That experience gave me a solid technical foundation and hands-on exposure to core security principles, which I’ve continued to build upon through advanced coursework and leadership-focused studies at ODU. Now, as a junior on track to graduate in Fall 2026, I’m combining that technical background with project management skills to prepare for a career leading cybersecurity initiatives.
Why Cybersecurity?:
In a world where data breaches and cyber threats are becoming more sophisticated, I believe strong leadership is just as critical as technical know-how. I want to be at the forefront of that intersection, helping teams stay organized, focused, and resilient in the face of evolving digital risks.
