Hi, my name is Brandon Braxton. I’m a cybersecurity student at Old Dominion University with a strong interest in technology, problem solving, and continuous learning. I came to ODU and the cybersecurity program with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Christopher Newport University.
Currently, I work as a Network Provisioning Technician at Old Dominion University, where I configure and maintain network infrastructure across the university’s systems. That role has given me practical, hands-on exposure to enterprise networking.
Through continued education, I’m deepening that knowledge through coursework in cybersecurity fundamentals, network defense, law and ethics, and applied security. The combination of real world network work and academic study means I’m building skills on both ends at once.
My primary interest is network engineering and security engineering, specifically building and protecting infrastructure.
