The principles of science relate to cybersecurity as they expose the social aspects that coincide with cybersecurity. To exemplify, a cyber threat can occur outside what one might perceive as the usual designated targets. Put simply, they can be the result of social interactions or aspects that we do in our everyday lives. For that reason, being able to identify which of those aspects that have caused a cyber incident to occur can prevent future risks from occurring. Though the identification process is imperfect, social science aspects like determinism, and objectivity can serve to enhance the analyzation process needed to identify and prevent future threat actors from exploiting and gaining unauthorized access to their intended targets.
