Alexandra Nicole B. Canlas

I am a junior at Old Dominion University taking Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I received my Associate’s Degree in Science at Tidewater Community College last December 2017. I moved from the Philippines to the United States in 2014 to pursue my higher education goals. I plan to get my Master’s degree in Psychology and hopefully get my Psy.D. My goal is to be a psychologist in the military and help soldiers in the field. However, I am still torn on doing the psychology route or the medical route to be a psychiatrist. I took this course because I’ve been very interested about learning other cultures, their behavior and how their societies work. I loved learning about World History so I am sure that I will love everything about this course too.
