After watching the video, write a journal entry about how you think the media influences our understanding about cybersecurity.

From watching the video, I can say that from what she explains and breaks down. The media can be informative in a way but also misleading. There were a few moments where I did laugh when she did explain that they are just making stuff up. With movies and media, it is spruced up in a way to make it more exciting. For instance, someone typing really fast which they may can do but then they show a screen of a bunch of stuff that does not make sense and they know right away what the issue is. It is often more fake than real. Now when it comes to being real, they use correct jargon here and there to make you feel like it is real but most times it is just stuff made up. Think about it, if they really were to use the correct terminology or show you what it really does look like, would it be as interesting as you think it would?
