Since my major is computer science, I would look for a profession that loosely involves
programming so I can utilize the skills I’ve been developing over the years. The first job that
comes to mind is secure software developer. These professionals design, maintain, and
modify systems to protect clients on the web. Their applications serve as frameworks that
safeguard tech ecosystems from malicious agents.Cybersecurity policy and planning is the
area I have the least interest in. This is because policymakers often have limited
involvement in the spaces they represent and typically lack hands-on experience. Even
when they do engage, many digital rights and privacy advocacy eƯorts go unheard within
the American legislative system.
