These stories, while informative, can sometimes foster fear and anxiety, painting a grim picture of the digital landscape. This emphasis on cyber threats can skew our perception, leading us to believe that the online world is inherently dangerous and insecure. The media often focuses on high-profile incidents involving large corporations, government agencies, or influential figures. While these cases are undoubtedly important, they may overshadow the everyday cybersecurity challenges individuals and small businesses face. This skewed portrayal can downplay the significance of personal cybersecurity practices and the need for widespread digital literacy. The video presented often showcased grand-world-scale cyberattacks, which could be unlikely in today’s world due to system limitations. However, out of the twelve movies that were made an example of, all of them showcased accurate, possible cyberattack methods- just on a grander scale.
