Assignment Details
Per the syllabus: Students will write article reviews of two [Article review #1 [First month of the semester] & Article Review #2[Third month of the semester]] social science cybersecurity studies from two different journals in this semester.
Note: This time, you must work on one article review only from a scholarly journal.
Article 1 review will be derived from a scholarly journal.
Article 2 review will be derived from a different scholarly journal than your Article 1 review.
Open and easy-to-access journals that students might select articles from – include the International Journal of Cybercriminology, the International Journal of Cybersecurity Intelligence & Cybercrime, and the Journal of Cybersecurity.

The article review should focus on
- Describe how the topic relates to the principles of the social sciences;
- Describe the study’s research questions or hypotheses;
- Describe the types of research methods used;
- Describe the types of data and analysis done;
- Describe how concepts from the PowerPoint presentations relate to the article;
- Describe how the topic relates to the challenges, concerns and contributions of marginalized groups; and
- Describe the overall contributions of the studies to society.
Please note the rubric that I will follow to grade your Article 1 Review is in the syllabus.
Guidelines or Requirements:
- Your name and date must appear at the top of the page
- The article review must have a clear and meaningful title ( Article review #1 and Title)
- The article review must contain headings that guide the reader through your writing.
- The article review must contain a clearly labeled conclusion
- The article review must have references and corresponding in-text citations as needed – APA format preferred.
Don’t forget to add the source of your article with the associated https:// as I will read the article that you reviewed.
Note: Primarily you have to attach in form of pdf file format or in word document format as part of this submission. Please don’t submit the ePortfolio link in this submission. Turnitin Score cannot be greater than 30. Word count should be in between 350 – 500 words.
