Basic Networking
In April 2023 I worked on subnetting in this assignment. I gained experience in translating IP addresses into binary format and identifying the parts of a network.
Analyzing Risks
In November 2022 I wrote a short analysis evaluating the risks associated with IoT and reviewed multiple methods to mitigate the risks. The methods I recommended to mitigate cybersecurity risks included establishing or using a known framework, encryption, and physical security. This short paper demonstrates my ability to understand, evaluate, and mitigate cyber risks related to hardware, software, and humans.
Ethical Reasoning
For this reflective assignment I was tasked to write a short summary of all the ethical perspectives I engaged with such as Ubuntu, utilitarianism, Deontology, and more. I was required to consider my own ethical decision making within the scope of these three ethical perspectives. I completed this short essay in June 2024 at age 27.
Sales & Marketing
In 2020 at age 23 I was tasked to create a 14-page PowerPoint to sell the idea of establishing a new bakery in the area. This project highlights key skills that are essential to sales and marketing such as creating a swot analysis, determining the target audience, establishing a mission, and goal outlining.
Public Speaking
In April 2020 at age 23 I wrote and presented a speech on the significance of reading in adulthood. The objective of this assignment was to write and deliver a speech at least four minutes long that is prepared but not fully memorized, with notecards, and in front of an audience of three or more people. In this assignment I practiced informal speech writing, delivery, and public speaking skills.
