For this cell biology assignment I chose to combine two aspects of it. I found a meme that makes me learn something new, and I also redrew it and added more to the conversation that takes place. When searching for a meme I came across one simplifying how scar tissue is made, but I did some research to be sure it was correct. I learned that the reason scar tissue is often itchy or even painful is because it lacks oil glands and elastic fibers that our normal tissue possesses. This helps prevent further injury while healing or future injury to the same area by restricting movement. I thought that was important to include so I chose redraw it and add my own touch!

I really enjoyed this assignment, I was able to see many other memes while completing it. These cell biology memes truly help break down more complex processes; allowing people, such as myself, to wrap ones head around a topic before diving in!
