We should be able to identify, analyze and solve a range of engineering problems on the field of fluid mechanics by using the tools that we learn and study in this course.

Here you will find my work throughout this semester and my reflections on my work which are my tests as well as a final reflective letter.

Final ePortfolio Reflective Letter

Throughout this course i have been able to gain new experiences and learn new ways to think critically as well as solve problems. I was also able to understand many different properties and principles that will help me in my field of work and in my profession and career. I was able to understand and complete the course objectives and use them on my tests (Test 1, Test 2 and Test 3 as well as my final. As i advanced more in the class i was able to grasp the knowledge in order to understand the objectives and be able to use the information i gained. My learning experience was great even though i should have asked for more help and i should have made different choices this experience has definitely been a positive one that has helped me academically as well as personally.

My learning in this course would also be demonstrated in my tests, i feel that i was successful with applying bernoulli’s equation and his principles, as well as the nature of fluids and their properties, and also computing the forces that are associated with them. I feel that this course intersects with a wide range of different fields and it is in my field of interest too however not as in depth as other courses are. I have not bee able to apply the concepts i have learned to what i do at work, however i have applied it in helping me with other courses, I feel like I might use the information i have gained from this course when i come to deal with things that are related to fluids, I would also use critical thinking in order to help me with problem solving and how to deal with daily difficulties that i might face. I think that what i have learned is important to an extent because my field is not very detailed in fluids and does not deal with it on a regular basis. If i were to start this course again i would advice myself to take the task force syllabus and to push myself in order to not slack on the assignments and work because it will help me and prepare me for my tests, I would also encourage myself to ask questions and meet with Dr Ayala more often in order to help achieve the grade desired.
