Top Marketable Skills

• Leadership– On the court, I am a great captain. I lead the team in many different ways. I help my teammates through their problems on and off the court. I work hard everyday to set a perfect example for my teammates. Also, during the games and practices I am the leader on the floor besides my coach. I make a lot of the decisions to help the team. In the classroom, I get my work done. I’ve already graduated once, and will be getting another degree soon. I engage in class discussions and let my voice be heard. I always have conversations with my professors and classmates. I stay on top of everything on and off the court.
• Critical Thinking– On the court, I’m able to make differents reads on both ends of the floor. I size my opponents up on offense and defense. By the time the game starts I know what they’ll be doing on both ends. When we’re in a close game, I can think of different plays to run to get my team the win. Under pressure, I can really think. If anything happen, I am able to adapt quickly. In the classroom, I am able to do my work under any pressure. If the work is challenging, I am able to figure it out. I make the Dean’s List every semester.
• Hardwork– On the court, I work extremely hard through everything. I workout before and after practice. I put in extra work because I love what I do. I continue to work through challenges on and off the court. When it comes to academics, I work hard as well. I study as much as I need to. I’ll stay and talk to my professors if I need to as well. I consistnely make the Dean’s list because I work so hard when it comes to academics.
