Cybersecurity Internship
This course allows students to volunteer to work in an agency related to cybersecurity. Students must volunteer for 50 hours per course credit and complete course assignments.
Cybersecurity Internship (COVA CCI Cybersecurity Internship Clinic)
COVA CCI granted me an amazing internship opportunity to help local companies in multiple ways. The first half consisted of assessing the security posture of local companies in the area, and the second involved creating a cybersecurity framework for a local company that didn’t have one in the first place. This experience forced me into new situations where I had to get creative with the internship’s required approach, allowed me to work within a group and become more flexible with other people’s circumstances, and gave me a new insight into the relationship between local companies and cybersecurity. The individual reflections each consist of fifty hours of experience and the post internship reflection are my final thoughts on the internship itself.
