I am taking this course as a way to enhance my skills in managing my professional portfolio and visibility in the field to network. One of my main goals is to develop my CV, as this is something that I have slacked on and not yet developed, yet it is immensely important in academia. I would also like to better understand the qualities of universities that facilitate a successful work and research environment, outside of publications and funding. Additionally, I aim to gain a better understanding of the impact of taking on a certain role in a university, whether it is tenure track or a non tenure position to better understand how it will impact my career path.

Hello Jenkins:
I am almost on the same boat. I also see this course as a way to spend time on my CV and resume and try to map them with available tenure and non-tenure opportunities.
Good Luck!

I am also interested in non-tenure track opportunities within the university setting. I look forward to following your journey and perhaps learning from what you share.
