At the midpoint of this semester, I feel like I have made meaningful progress in my French class. Learning a new language has definitely been challenging, especially when it comes to spelling and understanding the placement of certain words in sentences. French grammar is very different from English, so remembering where adjectives, verbs, and pronouns belong can sometimes be confusing. Pronunciation and silent letters also make spelling more difficult than I expected.

Even with these challenges, I feel like I am slowly starting to understand the language better. I can recognize more vocabulary, understand simple conversations, and form basic sentences with greater confidence. Practice and repetition have helped me improve, and I am beginning to notice patterns in grammar and sentence structure. Although there is still a lot for me to learn, I feel encouraged by the progress I have made so far and motivated to continue improving throughout the rest of the semester.
