Good security should not be an afterthought. To be most secure, cybersecurity must be built into the organization’s network infrastructure, remaining as one of its key objectives throughout both its design and implementation phases. The following artifacts highlight my own experiences in designing a hypothetical network and a secure facility, as well as the dangerous impact a lack of foresight can cause in our most important systems.
