My name is Hailey Caram and I am a junior at Old Dominion University (ODU) majoring in cybersecurity. I have been in the U.S. Navy for 5 years as a Cyber Warfare Technician specializing in defensive cyber operations. Throughout my time in the Navy, I have become a subject matter expert in endpoint analysis and have worked my way up to a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) developer. Some of my short-term goals include graduating and getting CISSP certified. Long-term, I would like to get my master’s degree in project management and work in industrial cybersecurity.
