For each of my classes each study method is different. In my intro to chemistry class I review slides and do practice problems so I can be prepared for and quiz or test I may have. For my English class I do not study, however I do practice my grammar using an app I have. In history class I study by writing down all the important facts and reviewing those. In Sociology class I studyby making flashcards and reviewing them constantly. For my other classes such as health professions and chemistry lab I do not need to study.

Currently I am doing very well in my English class due to the fact that I have turned in a well written paper and that was very beneficial to my grade. I am currently doing well in sociology aswell. I failed my first quiz and after working very hard I was able to pass my second quiz andbrought my grade up profusely! Flash cards definitely worked best for me and it was super helpful,and paid off.

I am currently struggling with my intro to chemistry class. I will now be making flash cards andjoining a study group to benefit my grade. I need to currently focus on my chapter 11 notes, I donot understand that topic at all. I will be spending about 2 hours studying on this subject. I need tosit down and study a bit more than I currently am. I feel a lot of pressure after failing my first examand I will be improving. I need a set system on how to study things and understand the material abit more. I contacted the student success center and have not received any word back on if theycould help me so my friends and I created a study group. I will use this to benefit myself and if I donot understand something they could help me and vice versa. I lacked motivation to study butafter getting a 69 on my first exam it will not happen again, I now study and I know what I need todo now. I should’ve been studying a lot more and now after noticing that I study a lot more. Imissed a lot of memorization questions and that will not be happening again.

I will be using the online tutor or tutor.com . This will be very helpful when I am struggling with mymath class. And I will also be using this because it can help with history which is my weakest subject.

One thing I could do that would benefit me outside of class to study would be to make my ownslides to create a study sheet for all my subjects in one area. I personally think that this will helpme because i don’t have to keep flipping through all my notes.
