Observing PE/Health | hpe369smith

I observed three Physical Education lessons and two Health lessons. I wasn’t surprised by what took place having already observed a couple Norfolk Public schools. The teachers seemed tired and short fused when dealing with student behaviors. There was a lot of direct teaching and not including of student opinions or thoughts. More punishments used instead of positive reinforcement. I learned that I want to treat my students with respect and engage them more in the learning process. The students need to feel they are also in charge of what they learn.
