I chose these activities because each day 7th and 8th grade would participate in the same activities. 6th grade was the only grade that was not allowed options but both periods of 6th grade did the same activities. Major take aways that I learned was that students like feeling like they have a say in what they get to do so. I think having options for the older grades makes it easier for kids to be engaged and enjoying what they are doing.
