Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs And How They Relate to My Experiences

Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs suggests that humans have a range of needs, including physiological, safety, belonging, esteem, and self-actualization. Technology meets all of these needs for me. It helps satisfy my physiological needs by offering relaxation after work through games or entertainment. For safety, it keeps me occupied and socially connected, letting me avoid risky situations. It fulfills my belonging needs by allowing me to stay in touch with loved ones. In terms of esteem, completing tasks like research papers with the help of technology gives me a sense of accomplishment. My computer also provides creative outlets that help me explore self-actualization.
