Facilitators

 

 Jenn Sloggie-Pierce is a Senior Lecturer in the English Department at Old Dominion University, where she serves as the Writing Program Administrator, overseeing the gen ed composition and literature program; coordinating assessment of classes; and scheduling, evaluating, and providing professional development for faculty and graduate teaching assistants who teach them.


Megan Mize is the Associate Director for ePortfolios and Digital Initiatives for The Center for High Impact Practices at Old Dominion University (ODU). In this position, she creates, facilitates, and assesses faculty professional development, program design, and student support in regards to incorporating digital tools into course and curricular design.


Megan Weaver is a PhD Candidate in the English department at Old Dominion University. Her research focuses on developing students’ and teachers’ critical language awareness  in the writing classroom. From August 2016 to May 2018, she worked as the Assistant to the Writing Program Administrator, organizing and facilitating professional development opportunities for faculty.


Dan Cox is the ePortfolio Support Position as part of the ePortfolios and Digital Initiatives for The Center for High Impact Practices at Old Dominion University (ODU). As part of this job, he worked with information technology services to develop code solutions to faculty problems, collaborated on ePortfolio policy generated, and helped run faculty engagement opportunities such as workshops and other training events.
