For this lab, I learned how to manage users and group accounts on Linux. The commands I used involved being able to check encrypted passwords, create new users, check user information, setting passwords, and changing a user’s shell to bash. I was also able to learn how to switch user accounts and create new groups, which involved changing the group name and checking the group membership. I didn’t have much issues with this assignment, and I can say this assignment helped me a lot with creating users and editing groups.
