In the fall semester of my senior year at Old Dominion University, I took the course CYSE 301 Cybersecurity Techniques and Operations. In the class, we had weekly assignments where we had to operate on Kali Linux and complete the assignment. This weekly practice helped me sharpen my skills in working with Kali and helped me with trying to remember commands. This definitely tested my patience, made me more hardworking, and ultimately more confident in myself. At the beginning, it was super difficult for me and I had a hard time, but I kept practicing til it started becoming a little easier for me. This made me more patient as a person as well. Not letting this get me frustrated and instead just working hard was the outcome of this course. The artifact I would say is me passing the class and the Linux command exercises. These mean a lot to me because it was not easy for me. I am still not perfect, but far from where I used to be. Working on your weakness every week will make anyone better in that area.
