Since I was a kid I loved technology. I Loved computers, video game consoles, and my phone.  From a young age I knew I wanted to do something with technology but did not fully know exactly what I wanted to do. As I grew up I started to learn a lot more about hackers since I was a gamer and people hack into game systems all the time to get the benefit of those of us who play the game fairly. I would be mad at them but at the same time wonder how they were able to do it and how I could stop them from doing it so that I can enjoy my games without them. Once I came to college I learned about cybersecurity and decided that this is what I wanted to do with my life as I stated before I wanted to do something with technology and cybersecurity just seems like an interesting thing to do. Once I had got my degree I planned on trying to apple for google as working there is my dream as from what I had saw when I was in the 5th grade it is an amazing work environment and I knew I wanted to work at google but didn’t know the jobs, after further research into cybersecurity I found that they do offer jobs in the major. Majors that relate to cybersecurity are computer science majors seeing as they also code like cybersecurity majors do so does another major in computer engineering, both of which code just as if not more than cybersecurity majors.They create the codes and machines we as cybersecurity majors protect. Sociology majors also relate to cybersecurity because being able to prevent hacks means we as cybersecurity majors must be able to get inside the mind of a hacker in which sociology has done that and has information on what may motivate hackers to do what they do or characteristics usually found in hackers. The last major is math majors, in cybersecurity you will need to be able to code and crunch numbers meaning you may have to be able to do numbers very quickly in your brain while you figure out solutions inside of your code.
