I felt the elevator pitch was the best fit for my portfolio, because it gave the reader a clear understanding of what they were getting into and still got their attention to wanting to continue reading more. Also, if they only decided to read my introduction page, I still was able to leave an impression on them, and they got to know me on the surface.

The company culture has its pros and cons. On the one hand, you’re working with at-risk youth and able to make a difference in their lives. Also, the job provides great security and benefits. On the other hand, the points driven system and paper push have led to burnout for some employees. Overall, the environment and clean, comfortable, and diverse, which may be ideal for many candidates.
A soft skill needed that is not necessarily stated is recent best policy, procedures, and practices knowledge. The job states that the individual will be conducting awareness training, vulnerability management, and compliance reporting. All these tasks require the acknowledgment of the best policies and practices in place and reviewed by well-known organizations.
A problem that could occur for someone when working on this job could be uncomfortable around at-risk juvenile individuals. Some people may not be used to the personalities in an environment as such and may not thrive when put in uncomfortable scenarios.
I do believe my portfolio meets the requirements for this job advertisement. The only thing I’m missing is the job experience itself, that’s required for this specific position.
An overall takeaway from this job advertisement is just the wide variety of jobs available in this field. Cybersecurity truly does impact almost every field of work, which in return provides a lot of opportunities.

A qualification that might be useful for this role is a security+ certification. I think its teachings align directly with the task requirements of this internship.
Overall, the working environment at Sony Corporation is very positive. Employees emphasis the opportunities for collaboration and creativity. I think the personal qualities that would fit this role is someone who is a team player. Some who strives on seeing others succeed just as much as they do themselves.
A soft skill that is not stated but is probably necessary for this role is communication skills. In an internship role and in an environment that thrives on teamwork, being able to communicate is imperative. It’s invited that you speak up and share your thoughts but also being able to communicate when it comes to work related tasks is just as important.
I think the challenges this role would present would be mental. As an intern, being around people who have a lot of experience and knowledge in the field can be intimidating. Other than that, I think this role is very encouraging and well-advertised.
I think my portfolio is directly aligned with this job posting. Its entry level and it doesn’t require much experience but allows for growth and pushing you in the right direction for your future career.

Characteristics
Three characteristics that best describe me are: flexible, self-motivated, and a leader. I pride myself on being able to thrive in a lot of different environments. In professional settings, I often push myself outside of my comfort zone to set myself up in the best position for the future. Whether that’s introducing myself to certain people or just listening to the knowledge that others are sharing. In other scenarios, I lead by example. Being the first to offer my input and skills, for the betterment of the group or for myself.
Values
I strongly value: faith and humility. My faith always keeps me pressing to become a better version of myself. It also keeps me grounded through the ups and downs of life. I value humility because it emphasizes my mentailty of putting others before myself. If I’m in a position to give, I will. And not just money, but effort, wisdom, and even opportunities.
Skills
Problem-solving skills, learning skills, organizational skills, and technical operating skills. These are the skills that I think fairly classifies me. Even when growing up, I’ve always been known for thinking outside the box and being creative. Those experiences are what have led to me being a great problem solver, in a number of scenarios. In terms of learning skills, I’ve had different jobs since my sophomore year of high school and when starting these new jobs, I’ve always been able to show my ability to pick up on things very quickly. Ultimately, being trusted to perform on my own and still maintain the standard and quality of work for the company. My organizational and technical skills stem from what I do in my everyday life. I’m always cleaning and reorganizing around my living spaces and using technology and becoming more proficient with it as time goes on.
