About Me

My name is John Monrouzeau. I attended school at TCC for 2 years to receive my associates and transferred to ODU in order to pursue my degree in Cybersecurity. I do not have much outside experience, but I am very familiar with Python and C programming languages, as well as certifications in Security+ and Microsoft Office. Ever since I was in 5th grade, and I attended the very first Cybersecurity trifecta challenge in Virginia Beach, I knew that what I wanted to do career wise was to enter the field of cybersecurity. Outside of all my education, in my free time, I like to cook and go to the gym, as well as play video games. My favorite form of cardio is swimming, and my favorite video game of all time is Cyberpunk 2077.

My goals for after I graduate, are to simply have a high paying reliable job. My dream job would be some part of Cybersecurity in the Air Force as an officer, work my required time, and then be accepted into another high paying job with the military experience and security clearance id gain. I hope to be able to gain more certifications as well to show that I am capable for a higher demanding job.
