For ‘Writing is a Technology”, I chose this piece because I can relate to the topic. While living in Turkey, I got to experience and see what I wrote about. There was a village, poor but they got by. Their main income; clothes and carpets. I was seeing girls my age making this gorgeous Turkish carpets and it was second nature to them. I asked one of the girls how she got so great this artistry and she told that her grandmother and mother taught when she was a little girl. I was amazed!
This piece didn’t affect my future writing because I already knew it while I was living overseas. My perspective has been already been changed.
