The NICE Workforce Framework covers many areas of cybersecurity, but the one I find most important to focus on is Protect and Defend (PD). This area appeals to me because it involves hands-on work in monitoring, detecting, and responding to threats, which directly protects systems and data. I appreciate the opportunity to be on the front lines of defense, where quick thinking and problem-solving can make a significant difference. On the other hand, I am less interested in Data and Digital Forensics (DD). While I see its value in investigations, I prefer proactive defense over post-incident analysis. For me, PD aligns better with my career goals and personal strengths.
