The very first writing I completed was a description of the photograph I chose. Here, I described as much of the details I could pull out from the picture, as well as establish a setting. This helped as a jumping off point for the rest of my writing.

The next writing was a Narration, or story. This was one of the more difficult writings for me because I needed to create my own fictional story, and there are so many directions one could take. However, I was able to create a story I liked surrounding the setting and the topic of Theatre, which I enjoyed.

Escritura 3-Editorial

The third type of writing is an Editorial. An Editorial is similar to a news article so I had to do some thinking about current events for my topic and do some research about what was happening in New York. COVID was a very relevant topic.

Escritura 4-Refutacion

The final writing I completed was a refutation. For this, I had to choose an article and write against it’s opinion, as well as support my own opinion with facts. I enjoyed writing my refutation the most, and because it was last, I was able to use a lot of vocabulary that I acquired while writing the previous Escrituras.
