My training and hands-on coursework in Cybersecurity have helped me build a balanced skill set that combines technical knowledge, critical thinking, and professional communication. There are many things that I could explore for this skills page since cybersecurity is everchanging but there were a few standout highlights.

Knowledge of Key Technologies

  • Social engineering awareness
  • Basic Telephony technology (analog and Ip)
  • Virtual Lab Environments provided by Cengage made for engaging real world cybersecurity tasks with real consequences if failed
  • Familiarity with creating websites through course work
  • Coding skills include: Python, Java, Kali, and C++
  • Experience with databases and database management

Soft Skills

Cybersecurity experts do not only need technical skills but also require the ability to communicate issues clearly. Thanks to the environment that a university has provided I have developed both strong written and verbal communication skills through various presentations, reports, group assignments, and discussion boards have helped me experience explaining complex cybersecurity concepts.

These skills have been formed and molded to help me understand the value of listening, especially when working with teammates or helping with user needs. Helping me be able to clearly provide security solutions in a practical manner.

Work Habits

Cybersecurity requires patience, precision, and persistence. I approach problems methodically and pay close attention to detail, especially when analyzing systems, reviewing configurations, or investigating potential vulnerabilities. With this I have found enjoyment from digging into technical challenges from multiple angles that I can find until I can fully understand how and why something works. My coursework has strengthened my analytical and diagnostic abilities, while collaborative assignments have helped me develop innovative thinking and teamwork.

  • Demonstrated Through:
  • Research and case studies on real-world cyber incidents
  • technical labs that required step-by-step system analysis
  • coursework that emphasized secure practices and emerging threats
  • Group projects tailored toward collaborative problem solving
