This course is the first part of a set of courses required to be completed as training tools for future writing goals in the university. Its objective was to present students with basic Oratory and Argumentative strategies used to convince the audience of the orator or writer's point of view. Ample reading of essays, short stories, articles, as well as a viewing of a film were the tools used to explore said strategies through the identification of the author's "hook" argument, and the writing of argumentative essays. Below are a couple of samples of the completed coursework.
The homework has a set of questions that ascertain the students comprehension of the essay titled "Lecciones de la sociedad de consumo" by Eduardo Galeano.
