Working as a Mitigation Specialist specializing in school and daycare environments, I assisted with the development of a presentation for Chesterfield County Public Schools. Information included in this presentation was school immunization requirements, an update on Monkeypox, and outbreak reporting requirements.
Mobile Health Presentation – Improving access to cancer screenings for adults with intellectual disabilities
This was a group presentation developed in the IPE course for Old Dominion University’s MPH program completed in February 2022. The goal of the program development overview was to accomplish the following:
➢Increase the prevalence of cancer screenings in adults with intellectual disabilities
➢Early diagnosis of cancer when it is most likely to respond to therapy
➢Reduced medical costs associated with the potential treatment
➢Reduced mortality rates
