Hello, I’m Leyah Knox

I’d like to share a little bit about myself with you before you dive into this website. First I’d like to say I am a motivated and oriented Cybersecurity student with a strong passion for Risk Management. I bring academic knowledge, leadership skills, and communication skills that help me contribute really effectively in both team and independent environments.

I am currently looking for internships so that I can get hands on experience in the cybersecurity field. I feel as though having experience will play a big role for me when I get older and start applying for jobs, because the more experience I have the better I’ll do.

I am a current college student at Old Dominion University and I am excited to see what this school brings me, and what I can give back in return. I am apart of the BLT Club here, we do activities, school work, talk about the college life, and overall make acquaintances in the process.

Some skills I have are communication, teamwork, leadership, time management, and technical skills. I am still working on my technical skills, because I started last year but there is always room for improvement.
