This introductory assignment introduced me to the Linux system as well as the use of virtual machines. I learned how to use echo, date, ls, and pwd. This was my first time using any command in a terminal, so it was exciting to see all the different outputs.

As this was a simple module, I did not struggle too much with this lab. The most confusing part was the installation of the virtual machine and the layout of Linux. Despite that, I learned how to navigate the terminal and use commands to receive information, browse directories, and perform simple tasks.
