Cyber Law

This course explored the legal and policy frameworks governing cybersecurity in both domestic and international contexts. Students examined constitutional law, privacy rights, cybercrime statutes, and government authority in digital investigations. Topics included the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA), Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA), FISA, and CALEA. The course also addressed intellectual property, cyber operations, and international law, including the Tallinn Manual, providing a comprehensive understanding of how legal structures shape cybersecurity practices.

Course objectives
