In my work at Markel, I gained practical IT experience managing and troubleshooting networks, while also dealing with sensitive client data. Throughout the Cybersecurity Program, I’ve deepened my understanding of risk management, encryption, and threat detection, all of which are essential in my goal of helping organizations strengthen their digital defenses. Courses in network security and ethical hacking have given me the tools to actively identify vulnerabilities and work proactively to prevent cyberattacks, aligning perfectly with my professional aspirations to become a cybersecurity analyst.
