Module 8 was the most engaging and overall challenging. Module 8 consisted of talking in past tense, and different kinds of meals. I always talked about meat being my favorite food. I would say, “Mi comida favorita es carne”. I would also say “Pollo es muy bueno con arroz!”.
The grammar for module 8 was more complicated than the grammar in module 7. I learned about different verbs with similar construction to gustar, and the introduction to preterite tense. The verb endings that I learned how to conjugate were -ar, -ir and -er. Even though these sets of verb endings were quite similar, I had a hard time applying the endings to sentences.
The conjugation in this module was extreme. There were a lot of verb endings that had to be memorized. I know that once I get a better understanding of each type of conjugation, it will become easier. However, this subject is still something I struggle with, no matter how much I practice!
