Module 6 of Spanish 102 acted as an introductory of the overall course. In “¿QUIÉN ES MI FAMILIA?”, I learned the basics of discussing my family members. I also learned vocabulary that is used to discuss people’s physical characteristics. These lists incorporated how to say and spell words like el abuelo, grande, and estar solo. Words like such were used to describe someone’s characteristics that illustrated their height, hair type, as well as their marriage status.
Some of the other vocabulary also aligned with descriptions as well as possessions. In this module, I learned about possessive adjectives that are used to dictate ownership to people and objects. I then learned the difference between stem-changing present tense verbs and how to change the stem of a word.
By the end of this module, I was able to briefly describe my family, my physical characteristics, understand vocabulary in physical appearances , and how to change the stem of verbs.
